Yumiko Furukawa

Yumiko Furukawa. This is a project of artist Yumiko Furukawa http://yumikofurukawa.com titled "Art Review Drawings," drawing on press release paper collected by and drawn on by the artist and NYABlog reviewer. "This project is a work in progress, from 2007. I live in New York from 2007. I am able to see many exhibitions in the Chelsea gallery District. When I was hanging around in Chelsea to see art galleries, I felt that I want to express my appreciation that we can see great shows in galleries and this great area. I can't do art criticism for each of art shows, but I can draw my own images from those art shows. And I hope to show another wider audience experiences I had in the gallery district. I have already finished one hundred fifteen drawings in this series during three years." (Yumiko Furukawa) » See other writings
