This event has ended.

The show is composed of paintings, monotypes, and drawings, all of which come from private collections and have not been seen for years. They range in date from 1959 until 1997 and include still lifes of fruit such as Single Peach with Leaf (Dark Background); flowers; and crossed dollar bills, an exceedingly rare subject for which Kulicke is famous.

The exhibition will also feature Green Apple, Wedge Removed, on a Light Grey Background, which the artist painted on a breadboard; and two cloisonné enamel pear jewels; and Mirror with Reverse Oil on Plexiglass: Single Peach, executed in 1985.

Kulicke is renowned for his contributions to the field of historic and contemporary frame making, and many of the works in this exhibition were framed by the artist himself.

Born in Philadelphia in 1924, Kulicke attended the Tyler School of Art (Temple University) and the Philadelphia Museum School. In 1949, he studied in Paris with Fernand Léger. He died in 2007. Davis & Langdale Company has exclusively represented the work of Kulicke since 1974 and continues to represent the estate of the artist.
