"Greenwich House Pottery Artists" & "You Need to Know Your History" Exhibition
The Jane Hartsook Gallery
This event has ended.
The Greenwich House Pottery Artists exhibit features ceramics of all types from our own studios. The array of ideas and forms on display is always inspiring. We celebrate the exhibit with food and drink in our garden (weather permitting).
"You Need to Know Your History" is a special exhibit co-organized by Michele Quan, a former student, and Susannah Tisue a former Resident Artist who are now studio neighbors in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The works in this show, which will be set up in our storefront window, are made by present-day students and inspired by Greenwich House Pottery's history. In the final part of our Centennial year, we want to reflect on the century of talent, creativity and devoted service that the artists, teachers and staff of past decades have contributed to the Pottery, making it what it is today. It's our way of saying thank you to the people who made us what we are.
