The Jane Hartsook Gallery is dedicated to sharing the diversity of historical and contemporary ceramics with the community. Founded in 1970 by the Pottery’s former director, Jane Hartsook,it was conceived as the only non-profit venue in New York City dedicated to exhibiting and challenging preconceptions of the ceramic medium. This gallery also provides a venue for current ceramic artists–including emerging and established artists, students, and faculty. Over the years, some of the biggest names in ceramics have been featured.
