“Textured Vocabulary” Exhibition
chashama Window Space (266 W 37th St. )
This event has ended.
“Textured Vocabulary” brings together artists reinterpreting and recycling found materials to build a vocabulary that is both deeply personal and abstract; creating strong abstracted expressions by reinterpreting the narrative of the material; moving away from the expected of recycled form and into a space that is clearly and purely the artists’ own. “textured Vocabulary” exhibits works made of reclaimed wood, second hand fabrics, found glass and grit, and even pieces of the city itself.
