“International Painting NYC IV” Exhibition
Jeffrey Leder Gallery
This event has ended.
A few have said that painting is dead, but alas it is flourishing as never before. There is great work being done, on the level of Gerhard Richter, Susan Swartz, Tomma Abts and David Hockney, to name just a few. Over time painters have increasingly gained the freedom to invent their own visual language. To experiment with representational and non-representational art through new forms, unconventional materials and techniques.
“Art is the highest form of hope” Gerhard Richter
“Painting completes my life” Frida Kahlo
“I dream of painting then I paint my dream” Vincent Van Gogh
The Jeffrey Leder Gallery starts the new year with an expansive exhibit: “International Painting NYC IV.” The exhibit occupies 2 floors of the gallery.
