We are neither professors nor professionals. We are self-confessed dilettantes: aficionados not authorities. In other words, we love us some art. Yet we know our limitations. Our aim is to laud and applaud not to pique and critique. We showcase the artist with an irreverent streak and a patina of subversion. And celebrate them as much for their colorful wit as their deep-hued insight. We have room in our hearts for sculpture but not so much on our floor. Hence our artists work in traditional formats like painting and photography. In other words; stuff you can hang on a wall. Our mission in art, as in life, is take the work seriously but ourselves less so.
