MUSECPMI is an emergent new museum with a mission that includes the exhibition, screening and collecting of important, unique works of contemporary photography, film and video art by established, mid-career and emerging artists of outstanding talent from around the world.
MUSECPMI will also conceive and present exhibitions drawing from its rapidly expanding permanent collection, which is comprised of an impressive blend of photographic and cinematic works of art, currently numbering more than 600 pieces from the second half of the 20th century and the first decade of the 21st century. As part of its ambitious, ongoing long-term acquisition program, MUSECPMI is committed to adding up to 1,000 new works annually to its permanent collection.
The ultimate aim of our program is to assist, recognize and promote the most talented affiliated as well as independent artists working in the creative mediums of photography, film and video art. MUSECPMI will fulfill its mission while collaborating with professional galleries, other institutions, individuals and organizations worldwide.
