Margarete Roeder Gallery was founded in 1986. The gallery exhibits work by contemporary American and European artists in all media, with a particular emphasis on paper and prints. Areas of specialization include drawings by Eva Hesse and Merce Cunningham; contemporary German prints, including Georg Baselitz, Per Kirkeby and Markus Lüpertz. The gallery also represents the estate of John Cage.
