Jamali has been painting professionally for 25 years. During that period Jamali has emphasized the development of surfaces as a medium. Being a student of the sciences Jamali learned early on the process of experimentation, manipulating and combining different elements to gain desired results. He used this technique in his works by experimenting with different materials to create new surfaces. Jamali is a master of several techniques: oils, acrylics, pigmentations on cork, sumi ink and his own technique called fresco-tempera.
