Schroeder Romero & Shredder is a new hybrid that wants to redefine the way you look at art. Combining the contemporary work of Schroeder Romero's artists with important historical works from Shredder, we will present dual exhibitions running contiguously, encouraging a unique dialogue between past and present to create a multilayered and timeless experience. It's a whole new way of looking at contemporary and historical works of art. Imagine: Michael Waugh and German woodcuts; William Powhida and Daumier, a stinging satirical duo; or Laurie Hogin and the fabulous 18th century Meissen monkey band. The possibilities are endless - and at times wildly unexpected - as we connect the multifarious dots of art history in exciting and surprising ways. We will also have a Kunstkammer style viewing room of available fine and decorative art.

Originally based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Schroeder Romero was founded in 2001 by Lisa Schroeder and Sara Jo Romero. Both of whom are members of the New Art Dealers Alliance and became ArtTable members in 2005.
