Add this to my venues

Vivian Horan Fine Art was founded in New York in 1986 as a gallery specializing in European and American modern and contemporary masters. Its main focus is on the resale of select works of art from the twentieth century by artists such as Carl Andre, Donald Judd, Sol LeWitt, Agnes Martin, Pablo Picasso, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Sigmar Polke, Gerhard Richter, Cy Twombly and Andy Warhol.

Located in a townhouse at 35 East 67th Street the gallery offers an alternative to the “white box” exhibition space and has mounted significant historical exhibitions such as Minimalism: On and Off Paper (2006), 50 by Matisse: Drawings and Prints (1997), Cindy Sherman: Portraits from the Eighties (1992), Donald Judd: Stacks (1988).

The gallery recently established an exhibition program focusing on international artists and the intersection between modern and contemporary masters. Its 2006-07 program included Tony Cragg: Five Bottles, In Between Places: New Art from Israel, Minimalism: On and Off Paper and Italian Visions: 40 Years of Art.

During the past 30 years, Vivian Horan has placed works in numerous museum collections including the Hirshhorn Museum and the Museum of Modern Art. Vivian Horan Fine Art has participated in art fairs including those in Basel and The Art Show in New York, and is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America.
