Grace Exhibition Space proclaims itself the Only Gallery in NYC (& the World) Devoted to Performance Art.
It "is a location designated to provide exhibition space to artists that are usually un-provided for; especially due to the economic differences that exist within the United States, and between the United States and many 3rd world countries.
Our mission is to make possible the exhibition of documents from live performances that have taken place far from new York City, while providing performance space to artists who are coming from far away and who are too often a neglected part of the New York city art scene
We recognize this larger, global community and want to enhance a dialogue that continues as one goes home-wherever that home may be.
We will specialize in performance, installation, video, sound and experimental films, providing an innovative approach to the promotion of these hard-to-categorize and even harder-to-sell arts."
