Add this to my venues

Hionas Gallery was founded in the spring of 2011, opening its initial space at 89 Franklin Street in Tribeca. In January 2013 the gallery moved to 124 Forsyth Street in the Lower East Side. Hionas Gallery's mission is to invite contemporary and emerging artists, working in all variety of media, to participate in monthly solo exhibitions to showcase their latest work and artistic vision. Gallery owner Peter Hionas concluded the gallery's original mission statement in June 2017, almost six years to the date since opening.

In February of 2018, Hionas Gallery became Hionas Gallery Backroom and opened its new space in a repurposed garage, located at 1426 Atlantic Ave. in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, NY. According to Peter Hionas, "In the traditional gallery space, people love visiting the 'backroom' in search of something New - historical, lesser-known works or a piece fresh from the artist's studio. I want to harness that sense of discovery here and stage unique shows that feed off of that."
