Together with the Bruce Conner Trust and The Jay DeFeo Foundation, the Paula Cooper Gallery presents the first two-person exhibition of their work.

Throughout their careers Conner andDeFeo were in frequent communication and artistic collaboration, exchanging images and reproducing each other’s works. These drawings, collages, photographs, and photocopies accompany an installation of Conner’s film THE WHITE ROSE (1967), shining new light on Conner and DeFeo’s artistic relationship and parallel trajectories.
