WhiteBox Harlem presents Chinese artist Ke-Ming’s first solo show in NYC ‘Trapped In Wuhan 2020’. The exhibition aims to explore key issues pertaining to the vertiginous development of China Inc and the conceptual borders recurrent in Ke Ming’s creative process, reflected in his contemporary art practice.

Mr Ming is keenly aware of his country’s historical problems precipitating a fierce collision of values whereby he has prompted an essential question under the surface of all the social changes and economic developments, namely: what is happening to our human legacies within our succinct civilizations?
