Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the liberation by the US Army, the city of Pilsen is considered to be one of the last cities to be liberated by the Allies during the end of WWII. This exhibition will explain the advance of Allied troops from Normandy to Pilsen, the role of General George S. Patton and other historical circumstances.

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Pilsen, Pilsen Jazz Band will honour the US Army troops who liberated the city at the end of WWII with a concert introducing their wide repertoire, ranging from jazz to swing and blues.
