This event has ended.

Eva Hild is to have her fourth solo exhibition at Nancy Margolis Gallery, comprising eight black and white sculptures of graduated sizes in new but familiar forms. Hild will present an Artist Talk at the gallery on Saturday, November 9th, from 2pm until 3pm.

Eva Hild (b. 1966) lives and works in southwest Sweden. Her small-scale ceramic sculptures and large-scale metal ones have secured her position on the international art scene. In July of 2019 Hild completed her first major outdoor commission in the United States for Alfred University. Her sculpture Wave is permanently installed outside the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum. Hild is the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including the Prince Eugen Medal, the Barnett and Annalee Newman Foundation Grant, and the Asmund and Lizzie Arles sculpture award. Hild’s work can be found in public and private collections across the globe, including the Museum of Arts and Design (New York), the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), the Museum of Modern Ceramic Art (Japan), and the Museum of Contemporary Ceramics (Shanghai).
