This event has ended.

For her first solo show at Bowery, Judith Lambertson will exhibit recent studio canvases and plein air works inspired by visits to Prince Edward Island, the medieval village of Guardia Sanframondi, Italy and West Palm Beach, Florida.

Describing her vivid compositions, Lambertson writes, “Capturing light, simplifying forms as well as shallow perspective continue to be of interest, as well as atmosphere and color‐filled strokes.”

In an essay, John Goodrich writes of Lambertson as “…an artist bent on communicating complex, enduring sensations with simple means. The artist clearly knows a thing or two about the workings of colors and shapes.”
