This event has ended.

Spirit rules secretly alone the body achieves nothing
(Anne Carson, Autobiography of Red)

By 2050 there will more plastic than fish in the sea
The anthropocene, the “ungrievable grievous place”

Holometabolous metamorphosis: alchemical transformation

Folding inward, perfectly- lie down under the blue. What we do alone.

Red buries herself with a candle burning the oxygen. She is visited by ghosts and may become one herself.

Red goes outside where it’s still warm and the air smells like roses; I am not sure this really happened.

What it is live in mourning, to have it live in the air - the dust of it, whether it is a person or the moths and flowers disappearing.

The mirrors reflect a dreamy hallucinogenic world; is she seeing herself, her double, or a ghost? Red inverts to blue, awake, asleep, alone, squeezing her eyes closed swirls of color flowering, quietly…

What fires a burning room? The room will burn, then the next, then the building, the city, the earth…
