Blue Mountain Gallery presents the work by Tim Ross in an exhibition titled Collaged Figures.

Artist statement:
I had a dream about a friend who was able to unzip his body and reveal a squirrel inside. He then reached into his fur and uncovered several different animals inside all with more zippers. I think of that dream often when I make art.

Tim’s works are digital images of monotypes and etchings that are then collaged in PhotoShop to create images of figures.

Tim has recently shown in Demark, Ireland and North Korea. He received a BFA from Cooper Union and an MFA from Columbia University. He is the third author of the book The Complete Printmaker. Tim has shown at Denise Bibro Fine Art, NYC. He taught at Pratt Institute and is currently a professor at Manhattanville College.
