Artists to be exhibited at 20th Street include Yorgo Alexopolous, Edgar Arceneaux, Shimon Attie, Andrea Bowers, Chitra Ganesh, Maria Gaspar, Jim Goldberg, Eric Gottesman, Justin Brice Guariglia, Sohrab Hura, Alfredo Jaar, Glenn Kaino, Titus Kaphar, Jackie Nickerson, Jim Ricks, Norman Rockwell, Bayeté Ross Smith, Dread Scott, Andres Serrano, Xaviera Simmons, Hank Willis Thomas and Deb Willis.

The Super PAC headquarters will remain at the 524 West 24th Street location. Upcoming For Freedoms special events include:

July 2 - For Freedoms at the Brooklyn Museum Join For Freedoms at the Brooklyn Museum’s Target First Saturdays from 6-9pm for interactive art and button making.

July 19 - LigoranoReese and The American Dream at the Republican National Convention Artists LigoranoReese will install a 4,000 pound ice sculpture reading “The American Dream” at Cleveland’s Transformer Station during the second day of the convention. Join us at 524 West 24th Street for a livestream of the work’s 10-16 hour meltdown.

Scholar-in-Residence: Domingo Borges Representing the Prison-to-College Pipeline, Domingo will be in residence at 524 West 24th Street on Wednesdays and Saturdays as he researches the effects and history of solitary confinement in the United States. In addition he plans to host workshops and give presentations on solitary confinement and the criminal justice system.

Artist-in-Residence: Ahron D. Weiner Ahron will be in residence at 524 West 24th Street on Wednesdays and Thursdays creating concepts for future For Freedoms advertising campaigns.
