The Lepidopterist is an aesthetic and visual investigation into the world of moths. These mysterious nighttime friends are the inspiration for the surrounding objects and lighting, which incorporate black light forms and flameworked elements. Observations of microscopic imagery of wings, analysis of body parts, and behavioral studies all come together to inform the larger installation.
