“Home Away From Home Ⅻ” The Alumni Association of Tama Art University NY Club Exhibition

TAMA Art University Alumni Association’s NY Club was established in 2003. We currently have a membership of over one hundred: mostly Tristate area residents plus some residents of Japan. Twenty-Six member artists will participate in this exhibition.
HAFH is an acronym of Home Away From Home. There are two meanings, two points to this title. The first is to be conscious of our identity. The other is to present creations that break through our own barriers by making our efforts in New York, the center of the world’s art market.
The first HAFH Exhibition was in 2004; this is the twelfth HAFH exhibition. HAFH has earned a top reputation as a fully fascinating exhibition where participating artists display their unique expressions and sensibilities.
It has been held in many locations, including galleries in Chelsea and at the Hammond museum in North Celum, New York. The exhibitors have tried various challenges each time. In the Tenri gallery, which became the exhibition place from 2012, their large space and a high ceiling give exhibitors the possibility of further challenges.
