This event has ended.

Steven Harvey Fine Art Projects presents a two-person exhibition of Gideon Bok and Meghan Brady. Bok and Brady are married and live in Camden, Maine. The exhibition is titled Colors and the Kids.

It will include recent work by both artists: Bok’s studio interior paintings, filled with the objects of a life in painting and music, and color abstractions (paintings and woodcuts) by Meghan Brady.

Brady was the subject of an exhibition at Icon Contemporary in Brunswick, Maine, in the summer of 2015; and a two-person show, with Karen Gelardi, at Coleman Burke Gallery, New York, in 2010. Both Brady and Bok were included in the October 2015 Portland Museum biennial.

Bok is a recipient of a 2004 Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship, and a Purchase Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. In 2005, his work was surveyed in an exhibition at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. This is his fourth exhibition at SHFAP.
