The 3rd Annual National Juried Ceramic Sculpture Exhibit, Art in Clay, evokes visions that are traditional, experimental, and everything in between.

Juror Judith Schwartz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art and Art Professors at New York University, where she directs the Sculpture Craft Media Department and teaches courses in ceramic art. She publishes in both national and international journals, and has curated numerous exhibitions including Confrontational Clay, which was on national tour through 2002.
“Clay may start out soft,” says Judith Schwartz, “but in the right hands it can deliver a hard blow.” She wants people to think of clay as more than ceramics with functional vessels or charming knick-knacks.

Face to Face (Fall Group Show) and Art in Clay (Juried Collection) exhibitions may be viewed in the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition Gallery which is located in a civil war era warehouse located along the shore line in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
