Mitchel Coffman Exhibition
Denise Bibro Fine Art
This event has ended.
Denise Bibro Fine Art presents works by Mitchel Coffman, an exhibition of figurative paintings.
Coffman’s work pays homage to the journeys and sacrifices of the individuals devoted to creating lasting legacies within their respected fields of work. With an image of Baltimore designer/stylist, Jedda-Khan BlueEl, Senegalese human rights activist/model, Amy Sall, and Belize designer, Edingston Middleton collaborating on a dress fitting for the First Lady of Belize, the paintings depict the process and effort put forth in developing and continuing the traditional forms of making. Coffman elevates the importance of telling the story of “individuals dedicating their lives to their crafts and the significance of their tools…”
Mitchel Coffman received his M.F.A from Savannah College of Art and Design. He lives and works in New York as a painter and dedicated athlete. Recently, he has had a solo show and mural unveiling, RTI Open House, in Stevensville, MD and participated in the group exhibition, Connections, at the Central Booking Gallery in New York.
