Brushed With Reality, a group exhibition with works of: Jason Bryant, Jennifer Murray, Jeff Huntington, Amy Hill, Lori Larusso, Kathy Greenwood, Bruno Perillo, Eric van Straaten, Russell Ritell, Jared Boechler, Anton Snt, Yongjae Kim, Monty Guy and Sharon Florin.
Brushed With Reality coincides with the nine year anniversary of Porter Contemporary and exemplifies the type of skill and imagination that the gallery is known for exhibiting. Brushed With Reality highlights the strength, innovation and diversity of trends in contemporary realism world-wide through the works of 14 artists: Jared Boechler, Jason Bryant, Sharon Florin, Kathy Greenwood, Monty Guy, Amy Hill, Jeff Huntington, Yongjae Kim, Lori Larusso, Jennifer Murray, Bruno Perillo, Russell Ritell, Anton Snt and Eric van Straaten.
All artists work in painting, drawing or sculpture in the areas of urban realism, Photorealism, Magic Realism, hyper-realism or trompe l’oeil. The exhibition presents a wide range of ideas, approaches, styles, and subject matter.
In Brushed With Reality the artists merge various genres of realism to present their own unique contemporary vision.
