Montserrat Contemporary Art Gallery presents, WAVE COMPOSITIONS, recent paintings by Nobuko Tanabe, a Tokyo artist. Nobuko has had many solo shows in New York and these new paintings continue her interesting exploration of texture, movement, color and spatial concerns. Nobuko is very successful at marrying the applied color over the collaged fabric that she creates a dynamic movement like waves patterns on water or the effects of wind on a field of wheat.
Nobuko Tanabe exhibition is sure to dazzle the viewer with her work, a product of years of idea and skill development coupled with her very keen aesthetic and sensibility. This will be a must see show.
