This event has ended.

The Michael Ingbar Gallery presents a unique contemporary curated group show, “Mostly Fresh Meat,” featuring artwork by past and present interns and staff. The artists are mostly emerging artists, thus the name of the show, “Mostly Fresh Meat.”

The artists included in the show are an eclectic bunch with completely different fine art backgrounds and life experiences that are united by the common theme of being artists involved with the Michael Ingbar Gallery. The show features fine art in the various mediums that these artists prefer to work in - drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, and ceramics - with various styles ranging from representational to abstract to surreal art. The emerging artists featured in the show are: Adelie Jimenez, Chris Boyce/Trip Art, Claire Bendiner, Elaine Sutton, Heather Roslund, Kegan Snyder, Lisa Brzozowski, Renee Royale, and Sol Ryu. Scherer & Ouporov are established and successful artists and have collaborated on many artwork installations and exhibitions. Their works are included in the permanent collections of different places, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and New York Public Library.

This is a completely different show than what the Michael Ingbar Gallery normally focuses on which is architectural New York City imagery and Christopher Burkett landscape photography. The works in this show are more contemporary and modern than the classic imagery and subject matter that the gallery normally deals in.
