A new display of books and multiples by photographer, bookmaker and miniaturist James Prez, a prolific New York City based artist who has been making books for 25 years (and working with Printed Matter since 1988).
Much of Prez’s work explores the urban landscape. His books compile images of ATM machines, graphic signage, murals, shop windows, and materials from newsstands, raising questions about public versus private space, the role of business and media in our daily personal lives, and money.
