Remains to be Seen presents works by five artists that emphasize a tension between absence and presence, ruin and restoration. Each object serves as an invented artifact that references the natural and manmade, helping us contemplate our physical presence and our relationship to our environment throughout the past, present, and future. Through the breakdown and reconstruction of systems in which our world is bound, these artists address our desire to define a world in constant flux.
