Hana Mulyati is a painter living and working in New York City. She was born in Indonesia, lived in Jakarta, Tokyo, California and later in New York City.
Studied illustration at Fashion Institute of Technology, Hana Mulyati’s paintings are influenced by her educational background in fashion Illustration and by the time she spent living in Japan as a teenager. Her preferred medium are watercolor, ink and currently is experimenting with combining collages from old books and washi tapes.
Hana has shown her works at Society of Illustration, Charming Wall Gallery, ISE Gallery, and Ouchi Gallery. Currently, she is proving her own theory that doodling does pay off.
