The Salmagundi Art Club was in Founded in 1871. It is one of the oldest art organizations in the United States. It offers programs such as art classes, exhibitions, painting demonstrations, and art auctions throughout the year in New York City.
The Salmagundi Club’s Junior and Scholarship program was designed to give talented young artists an opportunity to participate in the tradition of American art and exhibit at one of the oldest art institutions in the country. These emerging artists come from a variety of backgrounds. While their styles and media are diverse, they are unified by a devotion to their craft.
