Jason Wicks is a filmmaker/photographer from Syracuse, N.Y. As a child, he spent many summers
creating movies with his friends. This passion for film brought him to The University At Buffalo
where he earned his B.A. in Film/Photo Production. Eventually, in 2000, he moved to New York City
and received an M.F.A. in Film Directing at The City College Of New York. Throughout his career,
Jason has directed over twenty films and shot hundreds of photos. Over the last decade, his work hasscreened at various events in New York City and around the world. The latest being a film exhibition at the DomagkAteliers Gallery in Munich, Germany 2014. He currently resides in New York City where he acts as Film Department Director with Gelato! Art Salon in Brooklyn.
