I have a sister.
Her name is Lu as well.
Every time we went to the park.
Mom will dress us the same.
Mom will buy me a red balloon. Also buy her one.
However, Mom doesn’t allow having her physically in China.
Therefore, she is only living in my imagination.
Lu Zhang, born in 1986, Xi’an, China, is a visual artist currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work is dealing with the issue of searching self-identity culturally and investigating the idea of relationships universally. Lu works mostly in Photography and video. She also works with installation and sculpture.
