This event has ended.

Zachary Zaitzeff is a self-taught abstract painter and adventurer. He was born in New York City and now lives in the West Village with his wife and daughter. He produces mixed media paintings, drawings, clay and wood sculptures. Many of his paintings can be seen on his website, zacharyzaitzeff.com. On display for “Adventures in Art” are abstract paintings composed of vibrant colors and textures that depict landscapes, flowers and everyday objects such as chairs. He paints in oil and often incorporates mixed media and collages with materials that he has brought with him to the top of the tallest mountains in the world. He is an Adventurer, who summited Mt Everest in 2011. Though the thin air has robbed him of some brain cells, he is still proud to have all his fingers and toes. His passion for the outdoors and risk taking is brought to his abstract painting on large canvases.
