In this exhibit, Barbara Roux continues her engagement with wild habitat niches in the Northeast through an installation of sculpture, photographs and narrative text. An ecology-based artist and active conservationist, Roux utilizes her experiences working daily in wild areas to create an installation that is layered with meaning. Themes of innocence, premonition, damage and sleep are presented in this exhibition through works that create a time, place, evidence for an event and emotional connection to the artist.
