This event has ended.

Jeanie Wing will be exhibiting paintings that bring environmental thoughts to mind. The works are based on observation of nature, from close up nature studies to broader landscapes. Some of the artworks are large acrylic paintings while others use water-based oils for a softer effect with blended color values.

She studied at the Art Students League, the School of Visual Arts, the Fashion Institute of Art, The New School, the University of Iowa, N.Y.U., and the Brooklyn Museum. She has works in numerous private collections and has exhibited her work in various galleries including the Brooklyn Museum Community Gallery, L.I.U. and Pace College. She was a founding member of Gallery 91, a co-op gallery, in 1971. She volunteered as coordinator of the New York City Artist Teachers Association for many years while teaching in New York City schools.
