This event has ended.

Kiki Kaye's expressionist exhibition To See it My Way functions as a narrative that addresses the relationship between man, technology and the bustling metropolis of the future. Her work touches on the Art Deco aesthetic of Fritz Lang's film Metropolis, but where Lang's film reveals a dystopia Kaye's work presents the opposite. She sees the future as a utopia where both people and technology bask in a glow of harmony. While her work blurs the boundaries between two dimensional and three dimensional forms, it also symbolically unites the organic with the inorganic. Kaye's bold palette speaks of possibilities and her reflective materials address human and technological potential. As Kaye says: "Human dynamism and our technological triumphs reveal what we can be".
