This event has ended.

All of Me is an exhibition we don’t often experience in New York City, center of the art world, home to a constantly shifting, cutting edge contemporary scene. Intellectualism, irony, ‘it’ girls. Comprised of a varied swath of contemporary artists, this exhibition has been brought together by gallerist, Stephan Stoyanov, as an ardent and exhaustive tribute to his brother, Bobby. With his heart on his sleeve and no irony in sight, Stoyanov has created an exhibition that encapsulates the indivisibility of his life from the person he has recently and suddenly lost. He gives us works that represent the earnest ideals he and his brother shared which allowed each to live for and through the other while living geographically so distanced; works that cry out, poignant and unrelenting, works that comfort, works that quell and works that were favorites of a family man a world away in Bulgaria. The exhibition takes a bit of an autobiographical tack, presenting ideas like a slide show of memories. Ideas here are as milestones, as nothing less than the grand stuff of living which we conquer and endure with our closest allies. We see joy, trial, triumph, ambition, belief and yes, sorrow, tied up with beauty. The exhibition as a whole becomes a representation of this extraordinary relationship where experiences and thoughts, once shared, exploded into color and began to live. Stoyanov is laying it all on the line and it is yours to take.

…Your goodbye left me with eyes that cry
How can I go on dear without you
You took the part that once was my heart
So why not take all of me….
