Ryuichi Kobayashi is a freelance illustrator based in Hokkaido, Japan. Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido in 1988, Kobayashi graduated from Hokkaido College of Art & Design in 2008. He belongs to the HOKKAIDO ILLUSTRATORS CLUB α artist collective and is currently showcasing new work in galleries around Hokkaido. “Life” is always one of the main themes of his colorful creations. In his illustrations, happiness, beauty and a fantasy dream world are always in focus. Kobayashi has exhibited his work in many exhibitions in Japan, and he has received awards as well for his designs.
