StandPipe Projects announces the latest offering, "A Question of Slow", curated by Alison Pierz and presented at Skylight Gallery in Chelsea.
This new exhibition features work by six emerging and mid-career artists, each of whom are actively engaged in “slow” art-making processes or slow, contemplative viewing practices. An outgrowth of the various “slow” movements of the past 20 years – slow food, slow money – the exhibition encourages a new consciousness about the relationship between time and aesthetics.
