Norman Mooney "Stars"

This event has ended.

Beginning Thursday, July 12th Irish born artist Norman Mooney's exhibition "Stars" goes on view. Made of cast glass and aluminum, these radiant sculptures have been called "sublime constellations which refract light and drench the walls around them with visceral watermarks."

Norman Mooney is a contemporary artist who includes glass in his practice because he finds it fascinating. We have admired Norman's work for several years and were thrilled when he decided to incorporate glass in his expanding repertoire of materials such as smoke, resin and metal. This is our first exhibition together and later in the month there will be an opportunity to meet Norman at an evening reception on Thursday, July 26th, 6 to 8 pm.

Also on view, will be selections from Sibylle Peretti's exquisite exhibition "Thaw" as well as works from Luke Jerram's thought provoking "Revealing the Invisible" show.

Please remember that during July and August the gallery is on a summer schedule:
Monday - Friday 11am - 6pm.
