This event has ended.

Born in 1979 at Toyota city in Aichi prefecture.
Graduated from Musashino Art School in Tokyo in 2002.
Won a prize at "The 21st Ueno Royal Museum Grand Prize Exhibition" in 2003. Held solo exhibition in Tokyo in 2002, 2003, and 2005, and in Nagoya in 2006.
Concentrated on oil paintings during art school days.
Began to make objects after taking a sculpture class at art school. Since then, started creating both oil paintings and objects from stone dust clay.
Also started making linocut from the previous year.
The themes of my artworks are 'pleasant' and 'alive'. I like to use bright colors and a lot of colors.
Because I become happy and cheerful when I use the colors. Colors express feelings. For example: Red is eagerness, Yellow is hope and Purple is hesitation. There are characters that decorate my room.
I have a feeling that I am hearing a voice when I see a character.
So, I want to make characters. And I want to there to be a world where all can coexist peacefully.
I want to make pleasant works.
