From enormous panel paintings to small sketches, Morlock's wildly colorful, adorably deranged art ranges all over the place, taking its cues from graffiti, cartoons, sideshow freaks, gorgeous burlesque dancers and African masks. Her witty, inventive sculptures are created from scavenged objects like toy guns, teapots, rocking horses, costume jewelry, and headless mannequins, all covered with her distinctive scribbles. Beloved by design fanatics, Morlock was recently selected by architect Jeffrey Beers and Todd English to create the art for English's newest restaurant Ca Va in the Theater District. This will be her second show with Clic Gallery.
