"Elder Kinder" addresses the innocence at both ends of the generational spectrum. Yarmonsky recruits his grandparents from upstate New York to pose for him in an assortment of playful costumes. Whimsical yet grounded in their age, each portrait finds a balance between vulnerability and amusement. A multitude of layers grace each canvas and generates a playful color scheme with dramatic depth.
