Hasted Kraeutler presents that new work by Julian Faulhaber will be on view in gallery 4 this summer. The photographs were commissioned by the New York Times Magazine to illustrate "Bloom and Bust in the Netherlands," a story about the tulips industry in the May 15, 2011 issue. These spectacular aerial views have also been discussed in "Land of Tulips," an article by Lyle Rexer in Damn Magazine Issue #29.
Faulhaber's previous series, Lowdensitypolyethylene, brought Faulhaber international recognition and was exhibited in 2008 and 2010 at HASTED KRAEUTLER. Faulhaber's photographs have been collected by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Princeton University Art Museum and the Harvard Art Museum, among others.
