This event has ended.

Pete Souza is the Chief Official White House Photographer for President Obama, as well as the Director of the White House photo office. Souza has unprecedented access to photograph the President at both work and play. Souza states: "My primary role is to visually document his presidency for history. I do that with the experience of being a photojournalist for many years, yet I also try to inject some artistry in my photographs."

Since his last exhibit at Leica Gallery in September 2009, Souza has photographed the President in a variety of historic situations, all of which are a part of this new exhibit: the health care debate, the crisis in Libya, the BP oil spill, the shootings in Arizona, the recent budget battle, and the mission against Osama bin Laden. The exhibit also includes exclusive photographs showing the lighter side of the President's life with his staff, friends and family.
