CATM chelsea and Fund Art Now presents the debut of Made in Wonderland by Belgian artist Dirk Janssens. Through explorative soul searching and an insatiable desire to unite people under the collective umbrella of affection Belgian artist, Dirk Ianssens draws on popular text and marries them to vividly portrayed paintings of color that delight the senses. His inherent sense of urgency in preaching his gospel of love and unity, raw emotional turmoil and the unilateral need for validation unfolds from an otherwise unassuming medium. As Oprah Winfrey insistently repeated her observation of humanity's need for validation from others, Ianssens' work validates and acknowledges her conclusion. Janssens is on a mission to unite and genuinely change the world we live in to a place where love and respect are cultivated.
